Assignment 1: Book tags
LIBR 287: Seminar in Information Science
Instructor: Robert Bruce

Objective

Create bibliographic citations in APA format for five books (written in English) that you've read (fiction, non-fiction, scholarly, popular, etc.). Under each of your bibliographic citations, list four or more tags (words or phrases) that you would associate with that book. You may use any criteria for assigning keywords to your book selections. Your tags may contain spaces or any printable character except commas. Your tags must be 30 characters or less in length.

After each bibliographic citation (formatted in APA style), list the tags you've assigned to that book. Separate the tags by commas. Examples:

  • Bruce, R. (2008). My fictitious book. San Jose, CA: Publisher.
    tag1, tag2, tag3, tag4
  • Jones, T. (2005). Yet another fictitious book. San Jose, CA: My publisher.
    tag1, tag2, tag3, tag4, tag5, tag6, tag7
  • Smith, R. (1993). A third fictitious book. New York: Some publisher.
    tag1, tag2, tag 3, tag4, tag5
